Christmas Gift Ideas 2017

I’ve been doing my Christmas shopping this week, mainly with a focus on buying from British, small businesses, artists and craftspeople (a couple of overseas designers have crept in). I’ve loved building connections throughout the year, mainly using Instagram, to find such interesting and dedicated people. Heres a selection of some of my favourites.

Starting with art….

Rachel Glittenberg
‘Eve’ by Rachel Glittenberg

British photographer Paul Hart has his first solo show of landscape work, ‘Poetry of Place’ at The Photographers Gallery in Jan 2018. His images are so incredibly beautiful and soulful. ‘Study for a Portrait of an Unknown Woman’ Charming Baker

I’m a big fan of artist Charming Baker’s dark humour and interesting aesthetic; we have a couple of his works at home. This is a fairly large print at £720, in an edition of 80, 76×94″ from Jealous Gallery (a ten month interest free purchase option is available).
